Thank you for taking the initiative and coming out with the idea of a website for the Qld parsees
I have been on the website and have found it to be very user friendly.
Pesi and I would love to join as members.
Carry on the good work.

"The website QldParsi.webs.com is simple and easy to navigate.
It has information and is pleasing to read and easy to understand.
It has the potential of becoming a very important and informative tool.
Thinking of the people who come to QLD to settle, would like to get in touch with us will have no difficulty to do so.
Imagine younger generation getting interested and keep in touch via this method.

We all or some of us who are interested, can make this website a huge big success by working together for the betterment of our lovely community."

My first glance, must say the website looks really nice.
Precise and to the point, without any melodramas.
I also like the fact that you have stuck to the present and the future, instead of the usual Parsi glorification of the ancient and past, which to me, has been an overload. Hope you can continue on these lines.

My suggestions :

1. No more glorification of the Tata's, Godrej's, etc. I feel this old generation of Ratan Tata, Godrej's, Wadia's etc., have all got the praises due to them and we do not need to be reminded all the time of their achievements. No more basking in their glories, especially when our children are going to grow up, not having a clue as to who we are talking about.

2. Let's recognize and praise the talents and achievements of the new and unknown generation.

3. How can we help members of our community, realistically and in the present context.

4.Like we have set up the directory of all the Parsees in QLD, maybe we could set up one with blood groups, for any emergencies.

One more suggestion which I would like to add, is that how we as a community can be more patriotic to our adopted country, instead of thinking all the time, of the good times and the good things we left behind in our country of birth. Personally, I love Australia and truly consider myself a citizen of this great country and all that it has given me. By saying this, I do not mean for people to cut their ties or give up their feelings for their birth country, but at the same time, all of us as migrants, should now put Australia before India. As the German Proverb goes " Whose bread I eat, his song I sing".

These are a few suggestions. I really liked what you have started and good luck.
